I have always been attracted to those places and homes where, because of the subtle balance between the natural world, construction by man and the ebb of time, one feels harmony. Some of these places are already perfect, and any further intervention would disturb them. In others, this balance has been improperly modified and, underneath all the modifications, you can sense their natural forces which want to return to their origins. Intervening, therefore, means  listening, because the “genius loci” (the protective spirit) has a subtle voice that necessitates the right time. The architecture of a place is like a sculpture: you must study its volume, light, balance, perspective, and remove superfluous material to discover its soul, liberating it like ancient music which has not been played for a long time. Anime a Sud is more than just a project : It is a vision that I have been pursuing.  Beautiful dwellings saved from oblivion, which now welcome people again.
